The 2015 Looking Ahead Awards event highlights

The Actors Fund’s Looking Ahead Program, which helps professional young performers and their families address the unique challenges of working in the entertainment industry, celebrated the 2015 Looking Ahead Awards with a star-studded gala on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood, CA. The Looking Ahead Awards honors leaders in the current and former young performer community who continue to inspire the world by living the program’s core values of growth, education, leadership and community service.

This year’s gala was hosted by actress and recording artist Ashley Argota from ABC Family’s The Fosters and Nickelodeon’s True Jackson, VP. Corbin Bleu (High School Musical, Dancing With The Stars) presented his parents, Martha Callari Reivers and David Reivers, with the Judy and Hilary Swank Award for parenting. Tatyana Ali received the Looking Ahead Award for Education from her Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air co-star Alfonso Ribeiro. Boxing legend and Olympic gold medalist Oscar De La Hoya presented the Looking Ahead for Community Service Award to his friend Mario Lopez (Extra, Dancing With The Stars, Saved By The Bell). The Fosters stars Hayden Byerly, Noah Centineo, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez were honored with the Looking Ahead Award for Social Awareness by their show’s co-creators and executive producers Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige. The legendary Rose Marie (The Dick Van Dyke Show) received The Shirley Temple Award from Peter Marshall of Hollywood Squares fame.
