Leading the Entertainment Community Fund is our Board of Trustees, as well as various councils, advisory committees and a dedicated staff all deeply committed to the welfare of our nation’s entertainment and performing arts professionals.

Our dedicated Board establishes policies for administering the programs and services of the Fund, ensuring we remain on course with our mission.

Here is a current list of our Entertainment Community Fund staff leadership.

The Leadership Council is a group of entertainment and performing arts community leaders comprised of former Trustees, Entertainment Community Fund Medal of Honor laureates and volunteer representatives who help to advance the organization’s work in communities across the country.

The Artists’ Committee of the Entertainment Community Fund lends support and advocacy to the organization by donating their time and talent to key fundraising initiatives and events.

The Dancers’ Resource Advisory Council of the Entertainment Community Fund advises the organization on the needs and challenges faced by professional dancers and works to increase awareness about the emotional, educational and emergency financial support available to the dance community.

The Central Region Advisory Council consists of leaders from entertainment unions, theater, dance, music, film, foundations, health organizations and government and focuses on the human services needs of Chicago’s performing arts and entertainment community.

The Looking Ahead Advisory Council advises the organization on the needs and challenges faced by professional young performers and their families and works to increase awareness about the support available to this community through our Looking Ahead program.

The Western Council of the Entertainment Community Fund works to increase financial support and develop fundraising efforts in the Western Region, advises the Board of Trustees regarding the needs of the community and helps spread the word about our programs and services.

Our Chairs have led the organization from our founding in 1882 as The Actors Fund to our newest chapter as the Entertainment Community Fund and beyond.*
