Housing Development Corporation

The Actors Fund Housing Development Corporation (AFHDC) was created to develop new affordable housing for the performing arts and entertainment community. AFHDC brings together educational programming, advocacy, marketing and real estate development with the goal of increasing access to affordable housing opportunities for our constituents. AFHDC is a subsidiary of the Entertainment Community Fund.

The Hollywood Arts Collective, now under construction, is a new affordable housing development and community arts center that embodies the Entertainment Community Fund vision: a world in which individuals contributing to cultural vibrancy are supported, valued and economically secure.

The Palm View is a 40-unit apartment complex that provides homes to low-income people with special needs who are living in West Hollywood, California.

The Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence provides supportive housing to special low-income groups including seniors, working professionals and people living with HIV/AIDS.

The Entertainment Community Fund and Breaking Ground joined forces to develop this innovative, 216-unit residence in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn.

The Actors Fund Housing Development Corporation (AFHDC), in partnership with Douglaston Development, is developing Rialto West: a mixed-income, mixed-use affordable housing development located in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan.
