The Actors Fund Home is entering a significant next phase, having recently been classified as a 501(c)(3) and affiliate of the Entertainment Community Fund, supported by a newly formed Board of Trustees.

Keith McNutt, Executive Director, Western Region and David Rambo, Chair of the Fund’s Western Council, were featured in a Los Angeles Times article about the ongoing hardships faced by workers in Hollywood.

Brian Stokes Mitchell, the Fund’s Chair of the Leadership Council and former Board Chair for 19 years, was featured in Town & Country in a feature about giving back to the theater community.

The Fund is proud to announce five recipients of the 2025 Alex Dubé Scholarship Program. 

The Entertainment Community Fund and Playwrights Horizons announced today that Grammy-nominated artist Rona Siddiqui is the 2025 recipient of The Mark O’Donnell Prize.

The Fund dedicated a room at The Samuel J. Freidman Health Center for the Performing Arts to the Feldshuh Fund for Women’s Health. 

This transformative program, supported by The Francine A. LeFrak Foundation, consists of courses, resources and support intended to provide performing arts and entertainment professionals with a solid framework to successfully explore, launch, and sustain your entrepreneurial endeavors.

Distinguished philanthropist Glorya Kaufman passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at age 95. 

The Entertainment Community Fund today released photos from Sunday night’s A Chorus Line Official 50th Anniversary Celebration at Broadway’s Shubert Theatre.
