The Actors Fund Housing Development Corporation (AFHDC) was created to develop new affordable housing for the performing arts and entertainment community. AFHDC brings together educational programming, advocacy, marketing and real estate development with the goal of increasing access to affordable housing opportunities for our constituents. AFHDC is a subsidiary of the Entertainment Community Fund.
Housing Portfolio
Our housing portfolio consists of 434 units spanning five developments in New York and Los Angeles, all of which are connected to supportive services:
- The Hollywood Arts Collective in Hollywood, California
- The Palm View in West Hollywood, California
- The Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence (formerly The Aurora) on the West Side of Manhattan
- The Schermerhorn in Downtown Brooklyn
- Rialto West in Hell’s Kitchen, New York
