Spotlight on Housing Services

This August, the Entertainment Community Fund shines a spotlight on the housing services and resources available to through the Fund.

If you are in search of housing and feeling overwhelmed by the process of finding affordable options or how to navigate the application process, the Entertainment Community Fund is here to help!

Covering topics ranging from apartment hunting and navigating NYC’s housing lotteries to educating seniors and older adults in California about the affordable housing landscape in Los Angeles, the Fund’s free online workshops are available to members of the community seeking guidance on how to find housing opportunities and practical information about how to get organized and apply—all while keeping in mind the unique circumstances that come with working in performing arts and entertainment.

For those seeking rentals, sublets and roommates, individuals can turn to the Fund’s Housing Bulletin Board to connect with members of the community sharing short- and long-term housing opportunities from coast to coast.

In addition to workshops, seminars and resources, the Entertainment Community Fund has a growing portfolio of affordable housing including The Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence and Schermerhorn in New York City and The Palm View in Los Angeles—all of which are connected to supportive services available to residents. Its newest addition, The Hollywood Arts Collective, includes 151 units of affordable housing for individuals and families working in performing arts and entertainment in the heart of Los Angeles.

The housing services of the Entertainment Community Fund are available to all performing arts and entertainment professionals.
