Broadway Brunch with the Stars: An Afternoon of Song and Celebration

New York, NY

A Benefit for The Actors Fund’s Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative In Honor of Kaytie O’Hara

Kelli O'Hara Seth Rudetsky

Join stars of Broadway and beyond for brunch and an afternoon of song and celebration in support of The Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative and in honor of Kaytie O’Hara. In a private Upper West Side home, you’ll enjoy a delicious brunch, lively conversation and an intimate Broadway concert with a breathtaking array of stars—including Tony Award winner Kelli O’Hara (Kiss Me, Kate, The King and I), Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!, Finian's Rainbow), Tony Award winner Laura Benanti (My Fair Lady, She Loves Me), Chita Rivera Award winner Corbin Bleu (Kiss Me, Kate, Holiday Inn), Tony Award nominee Stephanie J. Block (The Cher Show, Falsettos), Tony Award nominee Will Chase (Kiss Me, Kate, TV's Nashville), Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens, 42nd Street), Tony Award nominee Santino Fontana (Tootsie, TV's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Tony Award nominee Matthew Morrison (Finding Neverland, TV's Glee), Stephanie Styles (Kiss Me, Kate) and SAG Award winner Chris Sullivan (NBC’s This Is Us, Nice Work If You Can Get It). With Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s ON BROADWAY host Seth Rudetsky at the keys, it’ll be an afternoon to remember.

Kaytie O’Hara, singer, actress, personal assistant and dear friend to many in the performing arts community, is currently undergoing treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This brunch is in honor of Kaytie and will raise funds in support of all women in the performing arts who are facing medical difficulties.

As a close friend of Kaytie's, Kelli O'Hara said “Kaytie is a passionate artist who has given of her time and talents to such organizations as BC/EFA, The Actors Fund, Concerts for America and many more. Kaytie has been my friend, she has cared for my children who love her so much, and she has helped me professionally for 7 years. I want to give back. I want to help her. So I asked my friends, friends who have children, friends who have 8-show-weeks, friends who are flying in from LA, and friends who might not even know Kaytie, but friends in this theater community who care, and so many of them said YES. We are going to have a fabulous time together honoring sweet Kaytie, and we want to share it with others. It’s what we need right now."

The Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative addresses the myriad of concerns women face when dealing with a serious medical condition. Actors Fund trustee and cancer survivor Phyllis Newman founded the Women's Health Initiative so that women have a safe place to go to address serious medical matters and get confidential and compassionate help.

If you’re unable to attend the benefit brunch but would like to make a contribution in honor of Kaytie O’Hara, you can do so here.
