The Actors Fund will honor the ensemble casts of Kathryn Bigelow’s latest film Detroit and NBC’s This Is Us, along with actresses Kellie Martin and Charlotte Rae at the Looking Ahead Awards on Tuesday, December 5 in Los Angeles.

The Actors Fund and Playwrights Horizons announced the winner of the Mark O’Donnell Prize, Leah Nanako Winkler, at a dedication ceremony at The Mark O’Donnell Theater at The Actors Fund Arts Center in Downtown Brooklyn yesterday.

The Actors Fund Home dedicated The Shubert Pavilion on October 6, 2017 in Englewood, New Jersey. The new facility was made possible by a lead gift from The Shubert Organization, with major support from The Walt Disney Company and The Mackintosh Foundation.

The Actors Fund’s Career Transition For Dancers Jubilee Gala will honor dancer, choreographer and television dance competition judge Carrie Ann Inaba, Academy and Tony Award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and New York City Ballet principal dancer Robert Fairchild.

The annual “Mark O’Donnell Theater Prize” for Emerging Theater Artist will be presented annually by The Actors Fund and Playwrights Horizons. This year’s winner will be announced October 25 at a private dedication of The Mark O’Donnell Theater at The Actors Fund Arts Center in Downtown Brooklyn.
