Riki Kane Larimer presents Gotta Dance!—the first dance production to capture the original choreography of classic musicals including West Side Story, Singin’ in the Rain, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas and others—all on one stage.
This extraordinary musical conceived by Nikki Feirt Atkins of American Dance Machine pays tribute to the brilliant work of Bob Fosse, Gene Kelly, Jerome Robbins, Michael Bennett, Susan Stroman, Billy Wilson and other trailblazing choreographers. Experience the movement, music and magic that has defined generations of Broadway and Hollywood dance and continues to inspire audiences today by preserving the work of some of our greatest choreographers.
The Entertainment Community Fund recognizes that dancers often encounter unique situations as a consequence of the physically demanding nature of their work, coupled with the significant financial challenges of earning a living in dance. Dancers also face transition for a range of reasons, such as injury, age and/or life events. Career Transition For Dancers offers career counseling, educational scholarships and panel discussions to assist dancers in navigating changes and expanding new opportunities for the future. The Dancers’ Resource, founded by Bebe Neuwirth, helps dancers access financial assistance and manage their mental health through individual and group activities.
