Proceeds from Chicago 30: A One-Night-Only Benefit Performance will benefit Entertainment Community Fund programs serving dancers.

Join us for a one-night-only performance in celebration of Chicago’s 30th anniversary on Broadway. Featuring an iconic lineup of special guests, this festive evening will benefit the Entertainment Community Fund’s programs serving dancers.

The benefit performance will welcome original company members Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton. The evening will also feature appearances from Robyn Hurder, Whitney Leavitt, Ariana Madix, Alex Newell and Reece Weaver*. Additional guests will be announced at a later date.

Chicago is the longest-running show on Broadway and the longest-running American musical in history. With all that Fosse, all that scandal and “All That Jazz”, Velma and Roxie’s story of fame and celebrity is still as entertaining as ever. It has everything that makes Broadway shimmy-shake, dazzling audiences with astonishing dancing and one showstopping Kander and Ebb song after another. Chicago has been honored with six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy and thousands of standing ovations around the world. Now in its 30th year on Broadway and hotter than ever, it’s no wonder why the name on everybody’s lips is still…Chicago.

Generous supporters of this event include Crossroads Live and the John Gore Organization.

Additional sponsors of Chicago 30 include Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Jodi Oh and Family, Nederlander Organization, Kurek/Clancy Charitable Trust, Lorraine DiPaolo, Stage Entertainment, CBIZ, Concord Theatricals, KYODO TOKYO, Loeb & Loeb LLP, Networks Presentations and Sony Music Masterworks.

The Entertainment Community Fund recognizes that dancers often encounter unique situations as a consequence of the physically demanding nature of their work, coupled with the significant financial challenges of earning a living in dance. Dancers also face transition for a range of reasons, such as injury, age and/or life events. The Dancers’ Resource, founded by Bebe Neuwirth, helps dancers access financial assistance and manage their mental health through individual and group activities. Career Transition For Dancers offers career counseling, educational scholarships and panel discussions to assist dancers in navigating changes and expanding new opportunities for the future.
