Dear Actors Fund Community,
Built into the values of The Actors Fund is a commitment to embrace diversity and seek equity, inclusion and dignity for all. We stand in support of black and brown people suffering from the devastating racism in America. We are committed to listening to and learning from voices that must be heard. We are working on what we can do better as an organization, and will say again and again: Black lives matter.
The workshops, groups and seminars of The Actors Fund continue to be resources available to everyone in the performing arts and entertainment community. To build upon our pledge to support equality for all and condemn systemic racism, we are working to expand programs so that they reflect the nuances of our community and the topics that need to be addressed. These issues have to be discussed not only as a national crisis, but also as it pertains to the entertainment industry.
We continue to highlight our workshops and services that are currently in place that can be of help to our community, from our daily meditation session to COVID-19-related health and financial wellness workshops.
If you or someone you know in our community needs assistance in addition to these sessions, please visit actorsfund.org/services, actorsfund.org/gethelp, or call our nearest regional office.
We hope you are well, and we thank you for your continued support.
