About Our Speaker:

Adam is a media and entertainment lawyer and the founder of the NY-based firm, Weissman Law. Representing clients in commercial and digital media and film production, content creation and influencer spaces, photography, art and design, as well as independent film and other areas of traditional entertainment, Adam also assists clients in the leisure and recreation spaces with brand and intellectual property issues.

A leading voice on social media law, having worked in it since the early days of the industry, Adam previously worked as general counsel for Nylon through its transition from print to digital, as well as Socialyte, a digital marketing agency and pioneer in the influencer space. Adam is regularly asked to speak and teach on the topic.
 
Prior to moving to New York, Adam was an associate at a mid-sized litigation firm in Toronto.
 
Outside of law, Adam is an avid cook and BBQ-enthusiast, musician and part-time, award-winning documentary filmmaker.
