Creativity Doesn't Age Speaker Series: Creative Aging Through Storytelling

Debra L. Pasquerette, Director of Creative Aging Programs at The Wallis Annenberg Center of the Performing Arts will lead us in an interactive experience learning how to bring together parts of your real life story to the stage. You are all amazing storytellers who are usually telling other people stories through your work. Here is your opportunity to gather clarity about the power of your own narrative!

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Debra L. Pasquerette is the Director of Creative Aging Programs at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. From 1999 to 2012, she served as Education and Outreach Director for the Geffen Playhouse, where she conceived, implemented, and expanded the Playhouse’s Education and Outreach Department. Debra has served as a Board Member for Rogue Artist Ensemble and LA Stage Alliance’s Ovation Awards. She was the recipient of a 2010 Artistic License Award; a 1997 Telly Award for Reality Rules, a television series; and a 1995 International Monitor Award for Best Director of It’s About Time: Teens and HIV. Debra received a Bachelor of Science in Communication: Performance Studies, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University, and completed additional graduate studies in Educational Theater at New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts. Debra is a writer, mixed media artist and editor in her spare time.
