Companion Care Info Session (NYC)

The Companion Care industry provides emotional support to seniors who wish to remain independent at home, but require light assistance with daily living. If this is an area you believe you'd enjoy making money in then this is the right program for you.
Our partners at ComForCare NYC will be facilitating an information session reviewing the following:
- About ComForCare NYC & their available opportunities
- What is companion care work? What are the qualifications and responsibilities?
- Career paths in the geriatric and health care industries.
Participants who successfully complete the information session will be invited to interview with ComForCare to be considered to join their team of companions.
Application Deadline: Monday, April 19th @ 11:59pm
All accepted applicants will be invited to attend the Companion Care Information Session via zoom on Friday, April 23rd @ 1:00pm ET.
Location:
Via Zoom, an online video conferencing system that we will be using for class. You will need a device with internet connectivity to participate (a headset or earphones with a mic are recommended, though not required).
Attendance Rules:
Interested participants will need to fill out the Google form application to be considered to attend this session.
Please note, there are only a certain number of spots available for this program. Not all applicants will be invited to participate. If you are not accepted this round you are more than welcome to apply next time!
