Health and Wellness
An adult day health care program serving a population suffering from sleep disturbances associated with various types of dementia. It provides participants a host of activities throughout the night operating from 7:00pm - 7:00am. It is the only overnight adult day healthcare program in the country and is designed for people 65 years old and over living at home who require constant supervision at night.
Home Delivered Meals
Provides home-delivered meals to New York's homebound seniors 60 years old and over.
Provides meals each day to home-bound seniors on the West Side of Manhattan from 14th St. to 110th St. from 8th Ave. to the Hudson River and select areas of Midtown.
Homebound seniors or those unable to prepare their own meals 60 years of age and older who live in Manhattan Community Districts 1, 2, 3, 5 or 6 can receive home delivered meals.

This site lists virtually all of the subsidized low-income and very low-income senior housing sites throughout the five boroughs of New York City. Also listed are middle income Mitchell-Lama developments which are either wholly or partially set aside for seniors.
The Medicare website provides information on long-term care planning, steps to choosing long-term care and explanations of different services. This site also offers tools to search for and compare nursing homes, long-term care facilities, home health agencies and hospitals.

JASA provides a vast array of social, recreational, health, legal, housing, educational and advocacy programs for seniors 60 years of age and older regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
Has a case management program to help coordinate home care and other services for frail residents 65 years of age and older in Manhattan Community Districts 1, 2, 3, 5 & 6, a home attendant program, home repair & safety audit program, home sharing program, ombudsman program to investigate and resolve challenging situations in adult homes and assisted living facilities and a respite care program to give temporary relief for primary caregivers.
Accepts referrals for older adults ages 55 and over. Services include individual insight-oriented and supportive counseling, psychiatric evaluation and supervision of medication, family/caregiver counseling, and short-term behaviorally focused therapy.
Helps entertainment industry professionals 65 years old and over, their families and caregivers with services including access to benefits, financial management and assistance and more.
