The Resources section is an ongoing collaborative effort at the Entertainment Community Fund to provide a one-stop database of services and organizations that meet the unique and essential needs of the arts and entertainment professional. Educational Scholarships

The Sermoonjoy Fellowship Fund

An annual one-time fellowship award of up to $5,000 for 2 mid-career actors for classes or training in order to maintain or enhance theatrical skills needed to work as an actor.

Individual Artists and Small Arts Organizations

Alliance for California Traditional Artist

Provides a list of organizations that have funds available to individual artist and artist organizations.

Artist Conference Network

A unique coaching community for people doing creative work. The Network is comprised of small groups throughout the U.S. Members are trained to coach and be coached.

Association for Performing Arts Presenters

A national service, advocacy and membership organization for presenters of the performing arts.

California Arts Council

Contains a source of information linking artists and arts organizations to a variety of arts funding sources from governments, foundations and private sources.

Creative Capital

Provides support to artists who pursue innovation in form and/or content in the performing and visual arts, film and video and in emerging fields.

Foundation Center

Contains a comprehensive list of funding available to individual artists and artists' organizations.

Kickstarter

Online crowdfunding tool for funding creative projects.

LEF Foundation

Offers funding opportunities for individual artists in California.

New York Foundation for the Arts

One of the largest grant makers to individual artists.

NYFA Source

Provides a comprehensive database of awards, services, and publications for artists in all disciplines.

Pollock-Krasner Foundation

Provides financial grants for recognizable artistic merit and demonstrable financial need, whether professional, personal or both.

Puffin Foundation

Provides grants to emerging artists in the fields of art, photography, music, theater, dance and literature whose works due to their genre and/or social philosophy might have difficulty being aired.

Silicon Valley Creates

Selects the Santa Clara County region's finest artists through a competitive process, using independent expert panels, and honors these artists with unrestricted cash prizes at an Artist Laureate celebration.

The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs

Provides funding to individual artists.
