Workshop Hours: 1:00pm - 2:30pm ET / 12:00pm - 1:30pm CT / 10:00am - 11:30am PT

Your student loans may not be top of mind right now, but if you have tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars of student debt, you probably still feel their looming presence. This single-session webinar is designed to help you navigate the complex system of student loan repayment as a creative professional.

Featuring the Education Debt Consumer Assistance Program (EDCAP), we will cover the most up-to-date information about student loan repayment options, including temporary programs such as IDR Account Adjustment (giving credit towards forgiveness programs) and Fresh Start (providing a path to get out of default), and what changes to expect later this year.

We will discuss the answers to questions like…

  • What will happen when federal student loan payments resume?
  • How do I enroll in an income-driven plan if I don’t know what my income will be?
  • Will I qualify for loan forgiveness, and what do I need to do to get it?
  • What are my options when it comes to private student loans?

Learn how to avoid common mistakes that may result in paying more on your student loan debt and/or paying longer than is necessary! This event includes extensive Q&A with the presenters and opportunities for individual support through our partnership with EDCAP.
