"Made in NY" PA Training Program

Developed through partnership between the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and Brooklyn Workforce Innovations, this program provides individuals from diverse communities with training for entry-level positions in film production and access to employers in New York City's production industry.

Access New York City

Access NYC provides a free service that identifies and screens for over 30 city, state, and federal human service benefit programs such as food stamps, financial assistance, family resources, insurance information and many others.

Access-A-Ride

Access-A-Ride provides transportation for people with disabilities who are unable to use public bus or subway service for some or all of their trips. It offers shared ride, door-to-door paratransit service in all five boroughs for the same cost as regular public transportation. An application and interview with a healthcare professional are necessary to determine eligibility.

Provides information for birth mothers and adoptive parents. Helps every step of the way through their comprehensive guides, links and advice about pre-adoption and post-adoption.

Air Charity Network

Provides access for people in need seeking free air transportation to specialized health care facilities or distant destinations due to family, community or national crisis. Comprised of independent member organizations identified by specific geographical service areas: Airlift Hope, Angel Flight Central, Angel Flight Mid-Atlantic, Angel Flight Northeast, Angel Flight Southeast, Angel Flight West, Mercy Flight Southeast and Mercy Medical Airlift.

Air Compassion America

Seeks to locate and coordinate bed-to-bed air ambulance services with the overall goal of lowering costs for patients. Also assists healthcare workers around the country by providing multiple resource options, including a chartered aircraft equipped as a mobile intensive care unit.

Alliance of Resident Theatres (Art/New York)

An arts service organization dedicated to supporting New York City's vibrant community of nonprofit theatres.

American Cancer Society: Tender Loving Care

A magazine/catalog with articles and helpful advice for women coping with cancer treatment and the resulting changes in appearance. Products like wigs, hairpieces, breast forms, prostheses, bras, hats, turbans and swimwear are available for purchase.
