The Resources section is an ongoing collaborative effort at the Entertainment Community Fund to provide a one-stop database of services and organizations that meet the unique and essential needs of the arts and entertainment professional. The National Resource Center on LGBT Aging

A technical assistance resource center aimed at improving the quality of services and supports offered to lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender older adults. Their state-by-state resources locate available services on a national and local level.

The Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative

A program of The Actors Fund created to address the many concerns women face when dealing with a serious medical condition. Our social workers help women negotiate the steps that follow a serious medical diagnosis.

Trevor Project 24/7 Hotline

Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25. Connects people in need to food programs and services in their community, and supports grassroots solutions that inspire self-reliance and community empowerment.

Workers' Compensation

Provides information for employees, employers, insurers and medical providers about Workers' Compensation benefits and work-related injuries and illnesses.

Working Artists and the Greater Economy (WAGE)

Our mission is to establish sustainable economic relationships between artists and the institutions that contract our labor, and to introduce mechanisms for self-regulation into the art field that collectively bring about a more equitable distribution of its economy.

Zero to Three

A national nonprofit multidisciplinary organization that informs, educates and supports adults who influence the lives of infants and toddlers.

Food

Catholic Charities

Provides relief and recovery services on a regional level, and responds to the need for emergency food, shelter, direct financial assistance, counseling and support. Other services include financial, medical and utilities assistance, clothing, housing, health care and child care. This site provides links to local branches, each of which provides direct assistance.

Disaster SNAP/Food Stamp Program

Provides replacement benefits for regular food stamp recipients who lose food in a disaster and extends benefits to many households which would not ordinarily be eligible but suddenly need food assistance. The benefits are delivered via Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards, which can expedite and mainstream the relief process for victims. Contact your state's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to apply.

Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations

Provides a central resource database of health education and resource materials for medically underserved Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.

Latino Commission on AIDS

Promotes health advocacy for Latinos and HIV education, develops model prevention programs for high-risk communities, and assists in building capacity in community organizations.

National Association on HIV Over Fifty

Provides advocacy, education, communication and support for HIV positive older adults, their families and those who provide care or conduct research on their behalf.

National Minority AIDS Council

Dedicated to developing leadership within communities of color to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS.
