The Actors Fund provides comprehensive social services including counseling, crisis intervention and connections to local resources for personal, family or work related problems as well as emergency financial assistance for basic living necessities.

Financial assistance is available to dancers and choreographers who meet eligibility criteria. Administered by The Actors Fund.
Disaster-related assistance
Provides low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes, and most private nonprofit organizations. SBA disaster loans can be used to repair or replace the following items damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster: real estate, personal property, machinery and equipment, and inventory and business assets.
Entertainment and Performing Arts Union and Guild Assistance Funds
Provides a modest grant to temporarily or permanently disabled musicians who are members of the American Federation of Musicians.
Members in good standing may be eligible for emergency financial assistance. Grants are administered by The Actors Fund from the New York, Chicago and Los Angeles offices.
Members who have completed initiation and paid dues for one year can apply for emergency aid for basic needs or medical expenses.
Provides confidential loans to members who are facing short term financial hardship.
Provides emergency financial assistance for the aid, relief and care of SAG-AFTRA members west of the Mississippi in times of need.

Provides temporary assistance to Writers Guild of America, West members experiencing financial stress in emergency situations. Loans are intended to assist in the procurement of life necessities.
Film, Television and Radio
Provides an anonymous safety net to men and women in the radio and television broadcast profession in cases of critical illness or crisis.
Provides financial assistance grants to stuntwomen who are unable to work due to debilitating illness or injuries.
